Classes galore in downtown Monument
The gems of our historic downtown Monument shopping district are a wonderful part of our community. Several local businesses offer classes for you to feed your artistic side.
Forge your bliss at Bliss Studio and Gallery, 243 Washington Street, Monument. A wrought-iron style metal and glass arts studio by the amazing Jodie Bliss. Her custom be home décor sized to fit inside your home, as well architectural ironwork doors, fireplace surrounds and furniture.
Bliss a trained artist and blacksmith offers spontaneous steel structure workshops at her studio ($55). Students get hand-on with blacksmithing tools to create their own masterpiece.

Gallery 132, 251 Front Street, offers lots of classes through their in-house artisans. The cooperative is often voted best in the Springs, offering monthly events and classes. Stephanie Brown, a nurse practitioner turned fused glass artist, offers classes in jewelry making and fused glass art projects ($40), such as these panels that can be hung or used as coasters.
Wendy Ledshan offers mandala dot classes ($35) to create extraordinary designs.
